PRIVACY STATEMENT & POLICY
1. Polestar Pilates (hereinafter referred to as “Polestar Pilates”), like other companies operating in Australia, is bound by the National Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. This privacy statement and policy explains, in general terms, how Polestar Pilates ("us" or "we") protects the privacy of your personal information under the National Privacy Principles. It will apply to any personal information you provide to us when registering, setting up an account, placing an order, or purchasing with us.
2. THE TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
3. The types of personal information we collect from you depend on the circumstances of collection and the type of service you request from us. For example, when you purchase a product from our website or through our store, we may collect details such as your name, address, date of birth, email address, delivery address, payment information, financial information such as your bank account details, transaction information, telephone numbers and other information relevant to your purchase.

18. However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request requires a substantial effort or resources on our part.
MARKETING
19. We may use the personal information that we have collected to promote and market products and services to you, including through methods such as email. We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes where you have opted out of receiving such communications.
20. Please note that when you create an account with us your details will be added to our marketing database to receive information relating to our products. You may also choose to receive such information by subscribing to our marketing database via one of our websites.
HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM MARKETING
21. To opt-out of receiving our marketing materials, you will need to unsubscribe from our marketing database.
Emails: Select the 'unsubscribe' option in one of the emails that you've received from us to unsubscribe from email marketing, this option can be found at the bottom of the email. Please note that if you have an account with us, we may still need to send you essential information about your account, that does not contain marketing material.
